High school students applying to UIC only need to apply to the university and the designated special programs they are interested in (e.g. Honors College, GPPA, Business Scholars) to be considered for ALL scholarships available to incoming freshmen.

Students can find external scholarships in the External scholarships section on this site, on our Mailing list archive, and in our library in 800 UH (M-F, 9-5).

Graduating seniors can apply for external opportunities such as Fulbright or the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship with support from the UIC Office of Special Scholarships. To get more information, please fill out the following.

OEF is unable to meet one-on-one with students who have general scholarship inquiries, but is eager to support students who have identified a particular award they’d like to apply for. Also, OEF understands the particular issues that arise when disabled and undocumented student seek awards, and is happy to set up one-on-one appointments with members of these communities.
