Selection Criteria

Although each fellowship opportunity has its own unique emphasis, certain characteristics can make students compelling candidates for any award.

UREF can assist students in displaying these characteristics in the best possible way on their applications and in interviews. There are many different opportunities, and there is likely to be one that is a good fit for you depending on your academic interests and future goals.

Consider how you might demonstrate the following abilities in your application:
